Second Chance Bicycle Shop refurbishes and donates used bicycles to disadvantaged children, individuals experiencing homelessness, and veterans. The organization serves the Denver metro area, and has operated out of several locations in Denver, Centennial, and Aurora.

As of early 2026, the organization has moved out of its shop in Denver and is seeking new home base.

History

Ernie Clark, a retired New Jersey Police Officer, founded the organization in 2006 and led it until his passing in 2022. Ernie's daughter Betty Clark has taken over management of the organization. Since its founding, Second Chance has provided over 4,500 bikes to the Denver metro community.
