Freewheels Houston is a volunteer-run nonprofit in Houston, TX that repairs donated bikes and gives them to refugees, veterans leaving homelessness, and young people.

  • 2015: started by members of Christ the King Lutheran Church and BikeHouston to get bikes to refugees.
  • 2017: opened a repair shop in Gulfton.
  • 2019: became an independent 501(c)(3).
