| Mission Statement | Good Karma Bikes assists very low income and homeless individuals with free quality bike repair at local shelters and parks from our mobile van. Now with our new bike co-op, we can rent low cost repair stations for DIY (do it yourself) repairs and teach classes on how to repair any type of bicycle. Our aim is to rehabilitate and refurbish bicycles, get them out of the waste stream and on the streets of San Jose, CA. We are a 501c3 non profit with a 100% volunteer work force. |

Started by Jim G., an out-of-work PHd who saw a need to assist homeless folks using their bicycles... that needed major repair. These folks had no where to turn for quality repair with no income or means to pay.
Services Offered
DIY (do it yourself) bicycle repair stations, clinics, classes, low cost bicycles that are refurbished by volunteers and for sale to the general public.
