Platt Fields Bike Hub is a community project supporting Manchester’s cycling community by offering a skilled bike repair service, providing access to workshop space and tools, training bicycle mechanics, and supporting other like-minded projects in the local area.

History
Platt Fields Bike Hub was established in 2012 by a group of cycling enthusiasts who wanted to support and grow cycling in our city. Tool Club was soon established and remains one of our most popular sessions. Since we established we’ve run over 500 toolclubs, helping more than 2500 people look after their bikes free of charge.[1]
Services Offered
Tool Club: Each week cyclists can book on to use our workshop and tools to work on their bikes under the skillful eye of one of our mechanics. This is a good opportunity to hone your cycling maintenance skills while making minor adjustments and service jobs on your bike.
