St. Louis BWorks (formerly St. Louis BicycleWORKS) is a nonprofit that teaches kids bike and computer skills. Kids earn a free bike or computer by finishing a class. Its shop sells refurbished bikes and parts to the public.

1985: Started by Roy Bohn in his backyard in Shaw
1988: Incorporated as a nonprofit
1996: Added Earn-A-Computer
c. 2011: Moved to rented space in Soulard
2026: Bought the former Compton Heights Christian Church at 2149 S. Grand Blvd. to be its permanent home

Earn-A-Bike: free class for kids; graduates get a bike, helmet, light and lock
Earn-A-Computer: free class for kids; graduates get a desktop computer
Refurbished bikes and new and vintage parts for sale (no kids' bikes)
Bike donations accepted at the shop and partner drop-off locations
