Chain Tool aka Chain Breaker
Proper Use
Make sure you are using the correct chain tool for the correct size chain. Failure to do so will result in a broken chain and/or tool.
Different Positions
Most chain tools have two positions you can put the chain in:
- Closest to the chain tool pin is used for tight links.
- Furthest away from the chain tool pin is used for breaking the chain.
