Ann Arborite, n=6, studded tire enthusiast. Started commuting in DC and ended up doing the same in Michigan despite terrible roads, weather, and drivers. Active with Common Cycle, a burgeoning bike co-op in Ann Arbor. Amateur mechanic because it's a hell of a lot cheaper than always going to the LBS and I figured it would be a useful hobby if the folks over at r/collapse know what they're talking about.
