== History ==
The non-profit organization [[Cyclo]], which won the Magritte Sustainable Neighborhood Contract project call in Jette, organized the first informational sessions in 2018. The new group got underway in 2019, persevered through the closures during COVID-19 lockdowns, and eventually established itself as a separate non-profit organization in 2021.<ref>[https://www.velokanik.be/en_GB/our-story Velokanik: Our Story]</ref>
